Ngozi Ogbongbemiga
AG-ACNP, PMHNP-BC
I am a double board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP) and Adult Gerontology Acute Care (AGACNP). I am dedicated to working with individuals to achieve emotional wellness through personalized care. In my PMHNP role, I do provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management tailored to each patient's needs. My clinical focus as a PMHNP includes management of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, depression, panic attacks, stress, trauma, PTSD, insomnia, emotional regulation, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.
In my AGACNP role, I provide comprehensive management of chronic health conditions, including hypertension, type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol), thyroid disorders, and metabolic dysfunction. My approach emphasizes the connection between mental and physical health, delivering care that supports the whole person.
I apply a collaborative and culturally sensitive approach while ensuring patients feel comfortable and actively involved in their treatment. I see patients throughout Texas, Arizona, California, and New Mexico via telehealth, telepsychiatry, and online psychiatrist services.
I graduated from Texas Woman's University with a BSN; University of Calgary, Canada, MSN; Grand Canyon University with an AGACNP; and Walden University with a PMHNP. Altogether, I have been in the healthcare profession for 18 years. I have worked in hospitals, long-term care, nursing homes, and home health services. All these experiences inform my care delivery to patients in any setting. I have cared for pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric populations. Also, I have experience as a hospitalist and in internal medicine with oncology patients.
For leisure, I enjoy swimming, gardening, listening to, and dancing to Afrobeats music.
